Bannister Engineering was hired to provide surveying, conceptual land use planning, site planning, civil engineering, landscape architecture, irrigation design, MEP design, and structural engineering services.  Bannister also sub-contracted the Architect on the project as well.  Blainestone Lodge is an integral piece of a larger 1,000 acre master plan for an adventure park known as Texplex.  The lodge was to be a keystone of the development serving as a multi-purpose event center facility for weddings and other events.  Bannister was integral in capturing the clients dream for the raw land and placemaking Blainsestone Lodge into an elegant yet rustic event center that could serve the most intimate of gatherings such as weddings up to large corporate events.  Bannister worked diligently with their client to strategically locate the building to provide enchanting views of the lake from the grand patio and an exhilarating guest experience.  We like to think of the overall design concept as simply; understated elegance.
