Bannister Engineering provided land planning, topographic survey, zoning services, platting, flood study with CLOMR and LOMR, civil design, landscape architecture, irrigation design, and construction staking for a single family residential subdivision consisting of approximately 105 acres with 251 lots, developed as three phases. Bannister was challenged with providing a design that would maximize the developed acreage while working within constraints of a reclaimed flood plain area. This was accomplished by utilizing a flood study in conjunction with channel storage and the FEMA CLOMR/LOMR process as well as the design of a roadway crossing a major drainage channel.
