Bannister Engineering was hired to provide land planning, topographic survey, platting, civil engineering, a drainage study, design of upgrades to existing lift station and force main to serve the addition, landscape architecture, irrigation design, and construction phase services for a single family residential subdivision consisting of 58 lots on a 23 acre undeveloped tract that is part of a larger development that has been master-planned by Bannister Engineering. A unique challenge for this site involved analysis and proposed upgrades to an existing retention pond, to be utilized to reduce the proposed stormwater runoff rate on the exiting site. This drainage study analyzed a series of ponds and channels as a combined system, accounting for timing of peak discharges at various locations.
