Site Civil Graduate Engineer (E.I.T. Preferred)

  • Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • Additional consideration will be given to applicants who have already passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam and are registered as an E.I.T. with the Texas Board of Professional Engineers.
  • Preferred applicants will have one or more years of relevant civil engineering design and AutoCAD drafting experience.
  • The graduate engineer will be responsible for producing construction plans and other documents for paving, grading, drainage, water, sanitary sewer, and erosion control.
  • Grading and drainage design experience is a plus.
  • The graduate engineer will be responsible for assisting project managers, project engineers, and designers with AutoCAD drafting, project coordination, engineering design, and meeting deadlines.
  • AutoCAD proficiency is important and AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is preferred.
  • The graduate engineer must be highly organized and must possess strong written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.
  • As a basic skill set, applicants must have engineering design experience/proficiency in site development projects including design of paving, grading, drainage, water, sanitary sewer, and erosion control.
  • Ideal applicants will have experience with multiple project types which may include office, retail, general commercial, residential (single and/or multi-family), industrial, nursing/assisted living, etc. Experience with single family residential projects is preferred.
  • Experience with municipal infrastructure design (water, wastewater, roadway, drainage, etc.) is a plus but not a requirement.
  • Applicant must be self-motivated and highly dedicated to meeting deadlines and producing quality work.
  • A friendly can-do attitude is a requirement of the job.
  • Compensation will be negotiated based on the applicant’s experience and qualifications.

MEP Engineer / Designer (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing)

  • Applicants with relevant experience in either mechanical or electrical engineering will be considered.  Applicants with experience in the design of both mechanical and electrical systems for commercial and residential building projects are preferred.
  • AutoCAD proficiency is required; Revit experience is a plus.
  • Duties may include MEP engineering design, MEP engineering computations, CAD drafting, preparation of MEP construction drawings, and project coordination with architects, other engineers, clients, contractors, and authorities having jurisdication.
  • Must be able to interpret various building codes and incorporate them into the design.
  • Must be self-motivated and highly dedicated to meeting deadlines and producing quality work.
  • A friendly can-do attitude is a requirement of the job.
  • Compensation will be negotiated based on the applicant’s experience and qualifications.
